Overview

Often people don’t realize their correct amount of caffeine intake. Too much caffeine can have a negative effect on our body such as sleep deprivation, nervousness, twitching, and increased heart rate.

In the morning caffeine helps us feel alert, focused, and energized. In the evening it can have a negative effect on your sleep, as it causes a delayed release of melatonin. It also causes a shorter duration of sleep, so you’re not able to achieve deep or REM sleep which is very restorative to your body.

Daily Caff app calculates users’ daily average caffeine consumption, as the effect of caffeine varies on how old you are, how much you weigh, and caffeine sensitivity level.
